Plans and directs the clinical and operational activities of the Pharmacy Department. Establish programs to provide pharmaceutical care; assist with the supervision of the Pharmacy staff in an effort to ensure appropriate drug utilization; provide consultative services to the medical staff regarding pharmacotherapy. Reports to Director of Pharmacy Services.
Doctor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited School of pharmacy and continuing education requirements of the Mississippi State Board of Pharmacy. Completion of clinical residency or equivalent experience or training.
Minimum of three years' clinical expertise required. Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize patients' individual needs based on medical conditions, age (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric), limitations and planned procedures. Requires oral and written communication skills; leadership skills and professional affiliations.

Licensed as a pharmacist in Mississippi, and controlled substance license. Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (or subspecialty) and ACLS desired.
