Evaluates, plans and implements specific treatment programs for patients in order to increase ROM, strength and functional abilities of the upper extremity. Facilitates the learning of skills and functions by the patient/family essential for daily living and productivity. Reports to Clinical Coordinator or Assistant Director as appropriate.
Bachelor's Degree from accredited program in Occupational Therapy. Current licensure in Mississippi as an Occupational Therapist is required.
Sufficient previous experience. Must demonstrate ability to recognize patients' individual needs based on medical conditions, age (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, young adults, middle aged, and geriatric), limitations and planned procedures. Previous acute care experience preferred.
