Medical Laboratory Technician
Receives samples using the computer. Performs phlebotomy as required. Prepares samples for testing and/or reference lab. Enters reference lab values in the computer. Performs routine testing in core lab.
Graduate of accredited two year collegiate medical laboratory technician program. In lieu of minimum education requirements, extensive on-the-job training or military training in a clinical laboratory may be accepted. Extensive experience is defined as five years for military trained or on-the job trainees hired. No experience required for two year graduates.
