Director of Finance Physician Clinics
The Director of Finance for the St. Dominic Physician Network (to include St. Dominic Medial Associates, First Intermed Corporation and Hospital Medicine Associates) is responsible for the financial management of the employed physician group. Provides financial direction and support in the areas of network development, provider compensation and contract management.
Assists in the financial analysis and financial management of physician group development activities. Responsible for the development/refinement and implementation of financial policies and procedures and reporting requirements for all products and services. Responsible for the development and coordination of all financial systems and the monthly and annual reporting and analysis of financial statements, including productivity statistics. Directs the development of annual and three-year operational and capital budgeting and long-range financial and strategic planning for the physician group.Directs the development of annual and three-year operational and capital budgeting and long-range financial and strategic planning for the physician group. Responsible for physician contract management and provider compensation management, including the implementation and management of physician compensation models. Analyzes physician compensation for fair market value and ensures that all employed St. Dominic physicians are paid in accordance with St. Dominic internal policies and procedures. Provides primary support to the St. Dominic Vice President in practice acquisitions, including financial analysis and internal valuation of the practice, provider compensation, and contract management. Responsible for supporting the billing and accounts receivable collection efforts for the St. Dominic Physician Network.Responsible for review of monthly accounting journal entries and general ledger with particular attention to contractual and bad debt allowances, payroll accruals, and physician compensation entries.
Three years in the financial management of a healthcare related entity.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Business related field.
